Sustainable Development Goals Global Symposium 2020 proclaims a significant importance of Sustainable Development Goals and raises a cognitive awareness among young minds. SDGGS 2020 proposes to cooperate with esteemed universities in Poland in organizing events of this kind on regular intervals. Some of the objectives of SDGGS 2020 are:

1) To promote social awareness on SDG and its objectives among students.

2) Social awareness on two important issues

        • Problem Identification

        • Implementation of Solutions.

3) Encouraging and empowering students to learn and implement initiatives at local level in their communities.

4) Reach out to vulnerable sections of the society and the local communities.

5) Assist in bringing resources and knowledge to provide required and adequate assistance in installation and implementation of sustainable     projects globally.

Why SDGGS 2020?

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals, were adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015 as a universal call to protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030.
The 17 SDGs are integrated – that is, they recognize that action in one area will affect outcomes in others, and balance social, economic and environmental sustainability.
Sustainable Development Goals Global Symposium 2020 organized by Taskeylens is just one of the steps in bringing the spirit of younger generation together for this significant cause of saving our planet and saving lives by creating awareness and calling for actionable steps that can be implemented.
Here’s an excerpt from The New York Times - ‘Australia is committing climate suicide’ “Like California, Australia is naturally primed to burn. But global warming has worsened the problem by turning greenery into kindling. (Average highs in Australia hit a record 107.4 degrees Fahrenheit in December, the start of the Southern Hemisphere’s summer, following the driest spring on record). According to Chris Field, the director of Stanford’s environmental institute, this year, in what has become “the iconic representation of climate change impacts,” undeniable trends and unpredictable weather created “a horrific convergence of events”.
Taskeylens Sustainable Development Goal Global Symposium 2020 aims at bringing change through young students who have the power and capacity in the 21st century. The younger generation today stands at the helm of a much needed action in saving our planet.
